Pixar have announced that it's new one-of-a-kind TV special Toy Story That Time Forgot will air on December 2nd.

The special follows their Halloween offering last year entitled Toy Story of Terror, which featured a healthy dose of spookiness and some epic Rex moments:

Now, Pixar are returning to the small screen with a Christmas-themed special, which sees the toys getting into trouble with their prehistoric counterparts:

During a post-Christmas play date, the "Toy Story" gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It's all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie's room in this "Toy Story That Time Forgot".

We can expect laughs and action sequences galore, with much of the original cast returning, including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Kristen Schaal as Trixie, Kevin McKidd as Reptillus Maximus, Wallace Shawn as Rex, and Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants.

Mike Mignola's amazing poster art for the special was revealed at Comic-Con this year:

And an advertising partnership with Sky gave us the first taste of the story. Check it out below if you missed it:
