So lately.....actually since [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) was announced there's been talks and talks of who would be the main villain in the movie. There's been rumors about Metallo or all the way to Darkseid could very well be the [Justice League](movie:401267)'s first threat. There's one character as well who's name has been dropped numerous times and that character is Brainiac the extraterrestrial android with a 12th level intellect.

I myself wouldn't have speculated Brainiac coming into play so early on as i see him as big name that could be saved for later on but then i started thinking more about how it could work. Then it hit me how genius this could actually play out for the future of the DC universe having Brainiac appear early on. I remembered Lex Luthor was part of the movie as well and how he could play a big part in the upcoming Justice League movie as well.

Lex Luthor's and Brainiac as one
Lex Luthor's and Brainiac as one

I believe Lex Luthor's hate for Superman will drive him to a point of insanity where he will do just about anything to destroy him. This means one thing and one thing only i believe having Brainiac at the end of Dawn Of Justice will mean we will get a Lex Luthor and Brainiac Fusion for a later film. I believe Brainiac is inadvertently led to Earth by the beacon Zod uses to located Superman in [Man of Steel](movie:15593).

Brainiac will have a rampage through out and the Justice League are the only ones who can take him down at this point. I believe once the dust has settled they will have won the battle but not the war with Braniac as a part of him will still live on. This part that lives on will be found by Lex Luthor which he will help rebuild with his technology and use to fuse with so he can finally get rid of Superman. This could very well be Superman's foe for a Man Of Steel 2 movie in the future after Justice League. I know I'm going too far into the future with this theory but just a small little idea that popped into my head today. All of this comes from articles i keep reading on Braniac being a part of Dawn Of Justice at the end of the film. What do you guys think though?

Will Brainiac actually be part of Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice? Let me know in the comments!
