After watching the trailer for this movie and seeing the direction it's going, I'm gonna edit this a bit.
Marvel comics changed her to this, that to this, this to that. I knew her as Ms. Marvel so I still call her Ms. Marvel and not Captain Marvel. That and making her a Captain demotes her because she was a Major in the U.S. Air Force.
She and Black Panther are two most anticipated characters for the MCU right now. They are being gently teased by Marvel Studios. Avengers: Age of Ultron, this movie is supposed to have Ms. Marvel and Black Panther in it as well. You can probably tell from this picture that I love Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, that cartoon is the bomb digity! Ms. Marvel was big in the second season.
Her involvement in the movie
Okay here it is. Remember the party scene at the begining?
He is there with the Avengers. Here's how I think Ms. Marvel can be brought in. They are partying right now. Ultron crashes the party and while that happens, Rhodes gets a call and he has to report. Keep in mind that he and Carol Danvers are both officers in the U.S. Air Force. Say that something weird happened and Danvers and her wingman are grounded. Rhodes requested to have suit repainted back to the War Machine color scheme. A Kree Sentry is what grounded the pilots and Major Danvers rigged the fighters to blow in hopes of destroying the sentry, instead the weird energy it emits puts her in coma. She did damage the object though. In my article below: you'll see it in more detail. Here I just decided to put it on a smaller scale so it could fit in the Avengers sequel.
I know there have been a lot of fan castings for her already. I'm going to put my top three actresses for Carol Danvers!
If you seen Hancock, then you saw her whoop Will Smith's ass! Hahahaha don't pick up that truck...needless to say she picked up that truck! xD haha
I enjoyed Underworld! Ms. Beckinsale here can kick some ass! Don't forget Van Helsing as well.
Just for you Brianna Pender! Lol xD
Who would you have play her?
I think a few months ago this happened, an IMDB sparked rumor that Carol Danvers was a Marine instead of air force Avengers: Age of Ultron. Not really confirmed, but it was fun to speculate that the marine would be Carol Danvers. MCU can change origins. However I feel like her being a pilot was just as key as James Rhodes being an air force pilot or Steve Rogers being army.
I feel like she needs to be introduced as Carol Danvers in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Then in an end credit type thing they do with after credits on the show, on her final episode she would get her powers. The show does lead into Avengers: Age of Ultron. Also, with Coulson drawing all these Kree symbols I feel like they're going that route.
By the time the movie comes out, I'm pretty sure she will have her powers. I know they don't want costumes looking ridiculous for the MCU. What costume would you want? Or do you think they'll come out with something fresh?
I like her first costume. I think the might give her different type of costume, but give her that color scheme. But then again, they'll change the costume with every movie she's in.
While I'm here I may as well talk about Mar-Vell. The classic version of him looks like this.
You may like him, I don't lol. I will take him as seriously as I take Sentry. That's no compliment. I want this Mar-Vell in the MCU:
A Kree scientist that tried to spare Earth from the Kree Supreme Intelligence. I'm quite shocked that he had no cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy. We haven't seen Kree military yet, so Marvel Studios still has time to make them look dope!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. time!!! The Obleisk is that 0-8-4 was talking about. It's an Inhuman artifact. With no Kree-Skrull War rights, I think the Kree should send Mar-Vell to find this long lost artifact and that's what brings him to Earth. I think we could see some Inhuman-Kree interaction too.
