According to Deadline, the Live +3 ratings for The Flash are in and now it's official:

The Flash is now the top rated premiere episode to air on The CW.

Originally, the overnight ratings had the premiere of The Flash trailing behind The Vampire Diaries, but the Live +3 ratings leaping not only the Live +3 numbers for that show, but also the Live +7 numbers for TVD and now whatever The Flash gains over the next four days is just an added bonus!

The superhero drama did it with the help of a healthy 33% Live+3 boost, which lifted its premiere audience to 6.42 million. That is higher than both the L+3 (5.49 million) and Live+7 viewership (5.66 million) for the TVD 2009 launch...
