December is quickly nearing, and that means moviegoers will be journeying to theaters to see the final chapter in The Hobbit Trilogy - Hobbit 3: The Battle of Five Armies. What is being referred to as the final chapter, The Battle of Five Armies sees Bilbo Baggins conclude his adventure as he and the 13 dwarves reclaim the kingdom of Erebor. However, keeping the dwarf kingdom will be easier said and done as Bilbo and the others will have to deal likes of coming armies, Thorin going mad and the impending dark force that comes ever closer to The Lonely Mountain. The film stars a massive cast featuring the likes of Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans, Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Benedict Cumberbatch and so much more.

Before [The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies](movie:512312) arrives in theaters, the studio teases the anticipated film with 9 character posters. In the past nine days, each poster has been released one by one. Now that all nine posters have been released on the web, it's time to look at each sheet and maybe we can get an idea of what to expect from this finale.

There's not much to these character posters. Aside from Galadriel, all the posters feature the characters in same area. Then again, that is an interesting factor for these one sheets. The similar look of each posters shows moviegoers that each of the characters will be in the same place. This would make sense seeing that the most of the characters will be a part of the Battle of Five Armies. Another interesting thing to point out is it seems each of the characters are all together; as if the seven are circling each other. While all the posters have the same concept, each sheet manages to capture the characteristics of the cast members, which gives each poster a sense of style. These character posters may not show much, but each image showcases the tone for The Battle of Five Armies in a very subtle way.

While these posters are great to see, there is likely something else lurking in the minds of fans everywhere: Where is the full trailer to The Battle of Five Armies? While now release is confirmed, it is likely that the full trailer to this finale will appear sometime this month. Needless to say, it would beneficial to keep two eyes open for the trailer; as long as you can spare them.

The Hobbit The Battle of Five Armies hits theaters on December 17th.
