Valve's focus on Steam may have delayed Half-Life 3!
The amount of discussion, speculation and rumours regarding Half-Life 3 is frankly becoming hilarious. The statements range from the absurd (a 2015 release!) to the banal and at the end of the day there are still thousands, possibly millions of suffering fans out there. I mean look at these guys!
I tell you Canadian-sign man, the whole world is 4 the release of Half Life 3. All we've received from Valve are vacant stares and excuses, which leads me to believe that they really haven't got anything in mind for the game's future. However, if the game is in fact thinking of being developed then it seems that our beloved Steam may have had a hand in it!
"Then we tried to do Steam. There were a bunch of people internally who thought Steam was a really bad idea, but what they didn't think was that they would tell the people who were working on Steam what to do with their time. They were like 'that's what you want to do with your time, that's fine, but we're going to spend our time working on Half-Life 2. We think you're kind of wasting your time, but it's your time to waste'." - Valve Corporation's David Newell
This suggest that the company decided to go in a new direction (with some not too happy about leaving Half Life behind), they have always maintained that they could have been a gaming corporation that just made Half Life sequel after Half-Life sequel, and let's face it, if they stayed that way we could be sick of Gordon Freeman at this stage. Instead we're pining for his return.

Valve have given us so many experiences in gaming over the years that remain some of the greatest in the history of the art form. From their humble beginnings up to Portal 2 and Dota 2, we've been with them and we've supported them, but we're loosing our patience. I've re-bought Half-Life too many times, they just keep giving away their incredible games for nothing on Steam! Also, if Steam has played a hand in the delay of Half Life 3 then that's okay, as long as it does return.
Half-Life 3 Release Date Found!
This little genius has done it, he's defied what we thought impossible, he uncovered the secret behind Valve's silence and displayed for the world to see why it's taking so long (and how everyone currently alive will never see the game).
I had to do it, sorry, just too funny! At this stage it feels like the game could be taking that long. It's driving me crazy that I'm constantly required to write about this game with no new news for you guys or at least a new form of concept art! But when the day comes, know that I will write the happiest article of my life as I type in full capital letters HALF-LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!!!!
