Ray Fisher in Dawn of Justice
Ray did not know about the solo movie until hours before.
“I didn’t know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character,” says Fisher, who was hired in March to cameo as Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. “When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world. But that specific information, I found out then and there. I didn’t think I’d be getting my own stand-alone film.”
In July, the actor wrapped shooting his part for Batman v Superman, scheduled for release in March 25, 2016. He remains tight-lipped about plot-points and potential spoilers but confirmed meeting certain super-friends on set: Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ben Affleck (Batman).
“I met everyone in the Justice League except Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller,” Fisher says of the actors who respectively portray Superman and the Flash within the DC Cinematic Universe. “It was surreal. You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn’t while I was there.”

"Cyborg" was announced for 2020 in October 2014 as one of the many DC movies. Since 2011, DC has always been pushing Cyborg--from Flashpoint, to Justice League: Doom, to New 52, to Injustice, to children's books, and more recently, Lego. Moan all you want, but this movie could be the next Iron Man.
DC's Iron Man
Poor Victor Stone needs advanced technology to keep him living--AND THAT'S AWESOME. I love Cyborg. He has a bunch of weapons on his body, has a connected that'd make 4G LTE seem to be as slow as a snail, and is hilarious--or at least he should be.
So here's how I see it: Cyborg will be the humorous, very clever, and positive member of the Justice League. Like Iron Man of the Avengers. Though Victor Stone is not rich and attracted to every girl he meets, he does have some daddy issues.
You are probably tired of these comparisons, so let's talk the villain.
Suggested Villain: AMAZO
- mimics powers
- is an android
- is a great Justice League villain; would be a great Cyborg villain
I saw this suggestion on Comic Vine and I thought it would be pretty cool.
Vote for the best title!
Team-Ups and Cameos
- The Flash would be awesome! He is very knowledgable and has ties with STAR Labs (not just in the TV show).
- Metal Men (see my post about CYBORG AND THE METAL MEN)
- Element Woman: you can google her
- Aquaman, Green Lantern, Superman, Batman (heck the whole League would be awesome in his solo movie)
Ray Fisher is Cyborg, set to appear in Batman v Superman, Justice League Part One & Part Two, and CYBORG.
“Let me tell you, man,” Fisher says with a laugh, “people are in for a hell of a treat.”
