At least to me. Aquaman is an amazing superhero and I hate when people say, "He just talks to fish. He can't do anything outside of water." Well if you actually read the comics instead of watching Super Friends which ruined Aquaman for years then you would know that [Aquaman](movie:264237) has the strength almost equal to Superman, his trident can pierce Superman's skin, he can make the Kraken rise from the depth of the ocean to cause major amounts of destruction, he commands 70% of our planet which means that he has more power than humans, he could make a flood take down Metropolis and Gotham at the same time with the blink of an eye. He's also pure good. Think about that; a guy with that kind of power would and the wrong morality would just wipe us off the face of the planet but instead he wouldn't step on a spider without feeling regret.

Now that my personal venting is over, let's discuss Jason Momoa who has finally been confirmed to be playing as Arthur Curry AKA Aquaman. Gotta get this out of the way first, look at the guy, he just looks like a guy out of a comic book which fits alongside huge actors like Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck. He's got that charisma and acting chops. Even as Conan the Barbarian he was enjoyable (I actually enjoyed that movie for the most part). Of course there is his work as the Dothraki King, thus showing he's had experience as playing royalty of another race of people.

Even if he doesn't dye his hair a little blonde, I think he could pull it off. Besides, we need a first attempt of a live action Aquaman that's better than the Man From Atlantis TV Series from the 70s... yes that did happen.

So far there isn't one casting of the Justice League that I don't like. Sure Gal Gadot can go either way but she looks like Wonder Woman to me, Ben Affleck looks like Batman, Henry Cavill is the perfect Superman, and Jason Momoa looks like he could be a great Aquaman.
