I was tickled by an MP commenter who responded to my statement that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is 'possibly the best TV show ever made IMHO with 'That's something you should only share with you wife or partner.' This guy has a point, but Goshdarnit, I just LOVE Buffy.

As a hunter (a Watcher?) of all things Buffy-related, I noticed Buzzfeed picked up UsVsTh3m's amusing observation that Buffy achieved a very random First-Ever:

Buffy gave us the first TV moment using 'Google' as a verb.

The episode in question is Season 7, Episode 4, 'Help' - and Buffy fans will know what I mean when I say it's a real emotional rollercoaster...

'Help' first aired October 15, 2002 and as UsVsTh3m pointed out:

Google as a company was four years old in 2002, and was already the largest search engine in the world. So in many ways it’s quite surprising that this happened so late.

It's certainly an interesting meeting point of two major early 00's cultural phenomena: Buffy and Google...

Buffy was the first TV show to say 'Googled.' Reaction?
