Paul Rudd may be a big time Hollywood celebrity now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't still care about his hometown team, The Kansas City Royals. The historically terrible franchise has put together a really miraculous and unexpected season this year, and just yesterday swept the Baltimore Orioles to move on to the World Series.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I always like to cheer for the underdog when they come out of nowhere like the Royals have (plus my Dodgers are out). Luckily, now I think I've found the team I'll be rooting for after seeing Paul Rudd's hilarious reaction to the win in this postgame interview with KMBC, a local Kansas City TV station...

So, not only does Paul Rudd actually do a pretty good job fielding questions about his fanhood (which I think is legit), but he also suggests what would undoubtedly be the hottest ticket in town for a postgame celebration -- his mom's house.

When the reporter asks Rudd about his celebration plans, Rudd takes a pause. Kansas City isn't necessarily known for its nightlife, but Rudd improvises saying, "I'm gonna be partying at my mom's house... party at my moms, man... she's outta town, I got a keg... it's gonna be sweet." Finishing up by adding, "Five dollar cover!"

Whether or not this party actually went on is beside the point to me! Rudd seems like an awesome dude, completely unaffected by fame, that I'd love to have a beer with.
