Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Advanced Warfare looks like a Call of Duty game that developer Sledgehammer Games can be proud of and players can get excited about! The latest trailer reveals the absolute mayhem of combat, the impressive new moves that are at our disposal, and how the awesome fact that we can enjoy a performance by Kevin Spacey is set to make this one of the best in the series.

If you haven't checked out the 'Power Changes Everything' trailer, you've got to see it now!

The campaign looks like it could draw a lot of players in who normally just go straight to the Multiplayer. I haven't been a huge fan of the narrative in the Call of Duty series campaigns as of late (though I do love the first 2 Modern Warfares), but with a top class actor starring in a role akin to that of his portrayal of Francis Underwood, I can't help but get excited.

But aside from this new campaign feature, we have so many new updates to get excited about for destroying one another in Multiplayer!

Multiplayer Updates in Advanced Warfare

Aside from all of the new abilities that players will be graced with, such as using jetpacks and a variety of Exo upgrades, there have also substantial alterations to Multiplayer that are sure to excite Call of Duty fans!

The upgrading of Scorestreaks in Multiplayer demonstrates the great lengths that Sledgehammer went to in their 3 year production cycle to vastly improve upon the Modern Warfare system. There are a variety of new combinations available in terms of your rewards, let's take a look at them!

For the first time ever, you now have the ability to pick up to 4 scorestreaks using a wildcard, or you could alternatively select no killstreaks and save up your points to use somewhere else. But who doesn't love racking up those kills only to be rewarded with some more gear to help you keep going?!

In Advanced Warfare you can update your scorestreaks, layering additional functionalities onto your drones, UAVs, turrets and so on! For example, with the UAV you can select three different upgrades, one of which actually allows you to see your enemies through walls for a brief second, thus giving you an idea of where they are heading. You can also broadcast your enemies locations to your teammates at the same time, sounds like I'm going to get my ass kicked in this thing.

Care Packages

These supply dropped care packages have a HUGE new development! There is one new upgrade available called Double-Tap. Which means that upon the package's arrival you can run up to it and double-tap X to change its contents. This lends the player the advantage of changing its benefits to suit your current needs and desires.

Remote Sentries

The remote sentries hold down an area for you in combat online. Now they have a new upgrade which can enable them to fire rockets as opposed to a blaze of bullets. You can also have it search on its own for enemies that surround it and instantly blow them apart with a rocket. No escape this time round.

The Goliath

The goliath is an awesome new feature to [Call Of Duty](movie:1068472) Advance Warfare! With this amazing new suit you can elect whether you want to focus on more assault based or protection based combat. You can choose rockets that seek out your enemies or have increased protection against firearms and explosives.

I cannot wait for this game!! It's actually a FPS to get really excited about and I hope to see some of you out there in November. Advanced Warfare will be released for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on November 4th, with those that preorder the Day Zero edition getting to play one day earlier!
