The poster for Tim Burton's new film [Big Eyes](movie:910050) has just been released.

The film tells the story of Walter and Margaret Keane (Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz) and one of the first mass-marketed art sensations, centered around the big-eyed art works. It should come as no surprise then that one of the most famous paintings has been used for the new poster. Take a look:

The official Big Eyes synopsis is as follows:

A drama centered on the awakening of the painter Margaret Keane, her phenomenal success in the 1950s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had with her husband, who claimed credit for her works in the 1960s.

The film promises to be a departure from Burton's usual darker works and will also star Krysten Ritter, Jason Schwartzman, and Terence Stamp.
