Well, the Digitama hatched on the official website, spilling the first pieces of information for those Digi-Destined fans! The series, planned for next year, is set to be a 15th anniversary series to celebrate the Digimon's 15th Birthday. The news of Taichi being in the series was declared when they announced the series, but now we have a silhouette of him and his partner Agumon, along with a brief outline of the series.

Now it is not much, but something else to surface was a silhouette of him and another character. We have a new/old character confirmed! His sister Hikari.

With Tachi being 17, it would mean his sister Hikari is 13/14 depending on the time of year and where her birthday falls. We can also now safely assume all 12 of the character we met in Digimon Adventures 01 and Digimon Adventures 02 are set to return for this series also. It is highly likely Yamato will be the next to be revealed. Below are some promotional images released along with this information.

15th Anniversary Blu-ray Box.

Bandai Namco are also promoting the anniversary series for the English viewing fans, and as any Digimon fan will know, they are a company very familiar with the whole franchise. Below is a teaser trailer released for the series:

Bandai Namco also celebrated the anniversary at Odaiba. The guests included Kouji Wada, AiM, and voice actresses Chika Sakamoto (Agumon), and Mayumi Yamaguchi (Gabumon).

According to Gearnuke:

"Several announcements were made at the event, including the reveal of a Movie Song Collection CD that will include a track from each of the Digimon movies. Blu-ray release for all movies as well as Digimon Adventures box set was announced. The box will start selling in March and will include a special Drama CD, currently only a Japanese release has been confirmed. In toy news, some brand new Digivices were announced that contain the original 8 Digimon partners, they are now available for pre-orders."

The website has hinted that another Digitama will be revealed in time to be activated again by the users by clicking on it once a day to reveal more information.

Also below is some alleged concept art for the series that was leaked online, featuring Dark Digivolutions. This is most likely fan art, but until we know further information, nothing can be ruled out.

JapNation Animanga has reported the series will begin airing in March 2015, this has not been confirmed, but considering some of the promotional images have the date 3/3 on them, and they have said it would come out in the summer, it would fit with the evidence. Until then, we must wonder what we will find out next and if the Dark Digivolutions will feature or not.
