The first full trailer for Marvel's "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" debuted at San Diego Comic Con this past summer but unfortunately was only viewed by people in Hall H....the rest of us have had to wait. But the wait is finally over.
Marvel has officially announced that the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel will debut on Marvel's "Agents Of Shield" Television show this coming Tuesday. The trailer will show in one of the commercial breaks for the show.
Marvel are genius for making this move. It rewards the fans who have been religiously watching the show, plus it will bring in a lot more viewers for that episode.
In my opinion, I think "Agents Of Shield" is a terrible TV show, that's just my opinion, I know many of you love the show, but it never clicked with me. So I won't be watching the show to see the teaser because it will obviously be dropped online immediately after it airs on TV. But I've already seen a large amount of people online say that they will be tuning in this coming Tuesday to see the trailer.
The most recent episode of AoS was the least viewed episode in the shows history, which means the show is gradually losing a lot of fans, so Marvel debuting their first public trailer for one of the most anticipated movies of 2015 is a very smart way to get the views back up for a week.
If you're like me and don't think the show deserves your attention then I'm sure the trailer will be dropped online moments after.
Looking at this news now it almost seems like a no brainer, airing the first trailer for Avengers on a failing TV show is a genius marketing move. I assumed we'd see the trailer before "Interstellar", "Hobbit" or most likely "Big Hero 6" but I really can't fault Marvel for airing it on Television.
What do you guys think? Will you be tuning in on the 28th October for Agents Of Shield? Or will you wait for it to drop online? Comment below and let me know!
