Writer and director Justin Zagri did an excellent job here with this fictional Harry Potter scene entitled The Greater Good. The short film is based on a story that was told in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in which young Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore fight one another on a beach, with Albus advocating for muggle rights and Gellert for wizard superiority. They did such a good job, that the top YouTube comment says
Besides the fact that the acting is pretty solid, there is also a great deal of action - and even with a huge budget, depicting a magical fighting scene is no easy feat. Let alone here, where I'd imagine the budget is pretty small and, yet, they manage to do a lot of cool effects over a long period of time (the video is about 17 minutes long).
It is engaging and dramatic. And let's be real... there's really no such thing as TOO MUCH Harry Potter. See the short film for yourself below:
Kind of hard to picture a beard-less youthful Albus, but I think this works.
Man, Grindelwald is such a douche.
The first bit of action we see is really well done! Dumbledore sends Grindelwald flying with a little help from movie magic.
There's a point when Dumbledore gets Grindelwald tied up and held captive. It seems like he could easily Avada Kedavra his ass here... but, being Dumbledore and all, he kindly lets him live.
They borrowed from the Harry Potter movies a bit with the magic vs. magic competing beams of light
And then Dumbledore's sister gets in on the action at the end...
This is one of the coolest fan-made pieces of content I've ever seen. Really high quality, great writing, awesome directing, and of course, very cool special effects to boot.
