Now, Gotham has, so far, been packed pretty much to bursting with incident, accident and more shooting of criminals (with no apparent consequences) than you can shake a stick at. So much so, in fact, that it's almost tempting to hope for an episode where Jim Gordon just goes on a series of long walks with Harvey Bullock, and the two get to know each other.

From the looks of two newly released promo videos, though, the show isn't planning on stemming the flow of constant, unrelenting proto-superhero awesomeness anytime soon.

Which, seeing as the alternative would be pretty weird, is probably a good thing.

In the first video, we get a closer look at just how soon we're going to see The Penguin emerge as a true super-villain:

Which, from the looks of it, is really...

...really...

...soon.

Then, in the second, we get a chance to see just how much trouble Gotham City is set to be in:

Plus, from the looks of things, a whole lot of Batman's rogue gallery are set to be intimately involved in the cities descent into anarchy, including...

The Riddler

Who surely can't stay on the side of the good guys forever...

The Penguin

Who is already so far gone it's downright awesome...

Victor Zsasz

Who - you get the feeling - is going to kill just a whole bunch of people before the series is through...

and, of course...

The Gotham PD

Who are about as much use in crime-solving as a chocolate Harvey Bullock.

Hey, there's an idea, huh? Promotional [Gotham](series:1127075) chocolate Harvey Bullocks? You're welcome, Fox...

What do you guys think? Just how anarchic is Gotham going to get?
