Now, when the teaser trailer for Adi Shankar's brand new - and deeply, deeply unofficial - online Judge Dredd series, Judge Dredd: Superfiend, was released recently, we were...excited.

Cautiously so, but still. Excitement was felt, and it was...moderate.

After all, you never know how a pointedly 'bootleg' animated series is going to go, and as brief a glimpse as we previously saw is hard to treat as comprehensive evidence that something will, in fact, be as bad-ass as we're all hoping.

And then, Shankar released the full trailer for Judge Dredd: Superfiend, and, well...

It's looking pretty darned good:

I mean, we're talking...

and, best of all...

Because, sure, an animated series based entirely on Judge Death would be neat and all, but without Dredd - it just wouldn't be the same.

Plus, now we can still keep believing that Karl Urban might be involved - and that [Dredd 2](movie:959324) might still happen!

What do you guys think? Judge Dread: Superfiend?
