Jurassic World, the name of what fans had been referring to as Jurassic Park 4, is getting closer and closer. Only last week, a new poster was released, and a trailer for the movie was set to run with Christopher Nolan's [Interstellar](movie:813746), though it has now been pushed back.

Jurassic World, as it's new title might suggest, promises to be a refreshing new take on the Jurassic Park setting. The script has been penned by a couple with experience breathing new life into and old franchise, the writers of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

So what can we expect now that, as the [Jurassic World](movie:32752) poster tells us: The Park is Open?

Jurassic World SPOILERS!

There has been a lot of rumor and counter rumor about the plot of Jurassic World, but one thing we do know is that this movie will be the first in the series to introduce a completely fictional dinosaur - the Diabolus Rex.

The movie opens with Isla Nubla's famous Jurassic World entering its 22nd year, but visitors are dwindling. With crowds more interested in taking selfies than admiring the ancient beasts on show at Jurassic World, the park's owners turn to their top scientist to create something that will draw in the crowds.

This task falls to Henry Wu, who readers of the original Jurassic Park book will be familiar with. What Henry Wu comes up with is the Diabolus Rex, a new dinosaur created by spicing the genes of a Cuttlefish, a snake, a Velociraptor and the famous Tyranosaurus Rex.

What is created in the end, though, is a beast that cannot be controlled, and the park is thrown into chaos.

One plot point that has been much debated online, is whether or not Jurassic World features tamed dinosaurs or not.

Chris Pratt & TAME Dinosaurs!?

Chris Pratt's character is said to be an expert in Velociraptor behavior, working closely with the animals, which are muzzled so as not to be dangerous (what is done about their foot claws is unclear).

A leaked trailer description also recently reintroduced the idea that Great White Sharks were being fed to enormous sea Dinosaurs - which brings back the question - are the dinosaurs in Jurassic World going to be tame enough to be used against the unnatural threat of the Diabolus Rex?

Can Henry Wu Survive?

The other rumor going around is that Henry Wu will not last the movie. In the original Jurassic Park book, Henry Wu gets his comeuppance when one of the Velociraptor he has created eats his alive, feasting on his intestines while he is still alive, trying feebly to push it away.

It would not be an enormous surprise if Henry Wu met a similar fate in Jurassic World.
