A film featuring a who’s who of history’s most frightening real-world monsters is headed to DVD and VOD next month.

The Butchers, from filmmaker Steven Paul Judd, sees John Wayne Gacy, Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, the Zodiac Killer and Jack the Ripper teaming up to terrorize a busload of strangers who decide to take shelter in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The release announcement is music to the ears for horror film fans, who’ve been keeping track of the movie’s movements towards the screen. But horror fans aren’t the only ones jonesing for the film, renowned horror filmmaker Don Mancini (Child’s Play, Curse of Chucky) was treated to an early look at the film, and gives The Butchers two char-grilled thumbs up saying it’s a “bloody good time!”.

Featuring a familiar face of genre regulars, including Grimm’s Damien Puckler and Randall Bosley (The X-Files), The Butchers haunts it’s way onto DVD and VOD November 11.
