I'm sure you all heard by now. It's been all over the internet for the past few hours. Marvel Studios have announced their movie slate for the next few years. It has all confirmed what rumors have been floating around, and reaffirmed what we already knew. I won't go into the full roster, you can check it here.
The news, or better yet, the theory I would however like to share with you guys is the possibility of T'Challa aka Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, making an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Alright, hold up Shaun, it was announced that he will make his DEBUT during Captain America: Civil War.
While this is true, let's think about this for a quick second. Part of The Avengers next outing will take place in Wakanda, Black Panther's fictional home. Check. Ultron will be complete in his final form dressed head-to-toe in Vibranium. Check. Could they REALLY not introduce the character by way of an easter egg, or an actual cameo? Let's be real about this...
Well I came across a tweet from Superheroreport not too long ago, (If you aren't following that twitter account by now, you honestly should. They update hourly on everything superheroish), that quotes Marve's head honcho Kevin Feige during an interview:
He confirms we will see Black Panther for the first time in Civil War, but "in costume." That doesn't mean that we won't see T'Challa before Captain America 3. Actually he possibly hints that we could. Why not? It would make perfect sense right? I'm calling it right now. I believe We could see a cameo of the King of Wakanda in Avengers: Age of Ultron. I mean let's be honest, if a group of people are fighting in your backyard, you best believe you will make your presence known!
