Water... Earth... Fire... Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Aang can save the world.
The formidable opening to one of the most loved television series ever to be brought out that has captivated audiences everywhere and from every age. There is nothing quite like the complicated storyline, complex characters, tear jerking moments and explosive battle scenes that make up Avatar The Last Airbender.
From the moment this series opens life is given and the drive to watch them all burns with a passion. The water tribe is one of captivation. Pure elemental manipulation that even i wish i possessed.
Not long into it you fall in love with the dorky brother Soka and the breathtaking awesomeness of Katara both of whom will end up following the Avatar to the ends of the earth to bring peace and unity to the land.
Soon after you meet these loveable characters, they stumble upon Aang. The frozen avatar, lost for a hundred years and still a boy.
From this point onwards, you are taken on a roller coaster of emotional wreckage that hits the feels where it matters most by the end of it all. Everything you think you know, everything you expect to happen is turned upside down and obliterated before you eyes.
This is a must watch show, a show that will never leave your life and will leave you in tears wanting more.
But alas. the second storyline to the avatar season is out. The Legend Of Korra.
Take it or leave it, but one thing you can't do is stop watching it
