On May 1st, 2015, it will be a day of reckoning for our heroes the Avengers. From the trailer that has become a major hit as of late, it's giving us a sneak peak of the dangers these heroes will face when Ultron sends shockwaves around their abilities to co-exist or send them into a darker version of themselves that will culminate not just with the Infinity Gauntlet storyline but a new beginning for the Civil War story. It will be our biggest look at the Avengers to date from the very beginning with Hulk and Iron Man.
Although a film of this type of spectacle will have tremendous action, pure powerful drama and given the essence of new heroes coming in, it'll be interesting how the movie will unfold from start to the post-credits scenes. This film is set to not only have our heroes fight but fight amongst themselves that will strike the very core to which we the fans have come to love but must face. It's a war that will not only test these heroes but put a lid on who can work with one another and we're not sure who that will be. Cap and Iron Man will begin their Civil War not with Cap 3 but with [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) because in order to even begin a story of that caliber, it will put a strain on that relationship first in this film. It's not easy to take in that these guys will fight each other one way or another in this film and with the addition of Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch it'll be an amazing transformation to see how the Avengers (original) will break up and add in a new breed of the Avengers.
We all have to realize whether we like it or not, the Avengers will not be the same after this movie, I don't care how you slice it, it's going to happen and it'll be a heartbreak. To set up the Civil War and end the Infinity Gauntlet storyline later with Avengers 3 part 1 and 2, a break up with a new set of heroes is inevitable. For some of us it'll be easy to take in but for others not so much because we have come to love and share the trials and tribulations for each individual Avenger, for me it's Captain America for all he wants to beat the bad guys, live with a purpose and have a wholesome life and we all know partially that's not going to happen because Stark will spark a war with his own teammate and although it pisses me off as a fan but for a film it's happening with hatred, heartbreak and a new relationship that will bring a new wave to their cause for the entire world.
With the new team coming around who knows how many heroes will show up, could be a few, could be a ton more but the fact of the matter is, somewhere around the end of this film, a new team will rise and the old will fall and fall hard. Even though I love the Avengers, it's smart to end on a story that will culminate with one of the greatest villians in Marvel; Thanos with his powerful army just waiting to take control of everything these heroes hold so dear and a new team along with Guardians Of The Galaxy will make this impact bigger than we can imagine. You can't have a film like this than have a half-cocked set of films for the 3rd act, it's got to be done with expressive drama, enough to where each hero has their own way of dealing and fueling the fire of the storyline and it's going to hurt but it's got to done and done right. New team, more story unfolding and even more heartbreak will come and come at us with a vengeance.
I'm looking forward to seeing this film and I cannot wait what unfolds with the characters because with practically every marvel film so far starting with Hulk has been incredible and the essence of each character has shared their own triumphs and sorrows with us and bringing a whole team together in one movie, then building up again. Ascending that ladder of reaching the very top of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will reach even higher because of this film alone. It will change the very landscape of this storyline and whether it turns out good, bad or ugly the fact of the matter is we are in for a roller-coaster.
