Entertainment Weekly recently released the image above to promote the film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. Pictured above are the Bennet Sisters from Seth Grahame-Smith's parody novel of Jane Austin's Pride & Prejudice (pictured below). From left to right: Elizabeth (Lily James, Cinderella-2015/Downton Abbey), Lydia (Newcomer Ellie Bamber), Mary (Newcomer Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote, Dark Shadows), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse, Love, Rosie).

The film is due for release in 2015 after many years of development hell. During development, actress Natalie Portman was attached to the project before dropping out. She still serves as producer.

It is said to have a more comedic and playful tone than 2012's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, also based on a Seth Grahame-Smith novel. Many critics decried Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter for its serious tone in an absurd story, but this movie looks to make up for it with badass victorian sisters, ninjas, and zombies. Oh my!

Warning: Since Screen Gems is releasing the film, only watch the first half of the trailer when it comes out. Screen Gems is known for spoiling most of the movie in the trailer (Armored, Obsessed, Carrie, No Good Deed).
