Terminator 5 Plot:

And the EW‘s synopsis of the film is here:
The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of postapocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah, from a Terminator programmed to kill her so she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like what he expected.
Terminator: Genisys cast Via Entertaintment Weekly:
In 2013, David Ellison (executive producer on Star Trek into Darkness) acquired the rights to the Terminator franchise for $15 million with the hopes of restarting a franchise that meant so much to him as a child. He, along with his producing partner, Dana Goldberg, quickly assembled a team including director Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) and screenwriters Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry) to concoct a film—the first in a hoped-for trilogy—that takes the basic elements of James Cameron's original 1984 movie and reworks them in striking new ways. The result is next year's Terminator: Genisys. The first order of business was to recruit that infamous Teutonic monotone himself Arnold Schwarzenegger. But relying on the 67-year old wasn't enough. They also assembled a cast with enough geek bona fides to appease the Comic-Con crowd, including Games of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Doctor Who's Matt Smith (far left), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Jason Clarke, and Divergent's Jai Courtney (far right).
