You may not have heard about Adam Robitel's directorial debut creepfest The Taking Of Deborah Logan, but this film looks like it could be a real treat this Halloween season.
The "found footage" horror, produced by X-Men aficionado Bryan Singer, details the efforts of PhD student Mia Medina (Michelle Ang), who has finally found the perfect subject for her thesis film on Alzheimer's Disease. Medina and her crew will hold up for several months in the home of Deborah Logan (Jill Larson), and her daughter Sarah (Anne Ramsay) and document Deborah's descent into the terrible debilitating disease.
But(!) it becomes swiftly apparent that something besides Alzheimer's has taken control of Deborah - something dark. Something terrible.
Let's have a look at the trailer shall we?

What a lovely, friendly lady she is. Welcoming these people into her home! But surely that's all set to change...
And so it begins.
Here's Deborah living it up in hospital. Seems as if the malevolent force has her held firmly in its grip.
Up And About
Looks like Deb's made a friend and they're out for a midnight snack...
I have no idea what is happening here, but it made me laugh. Is that weird?
Who Is That Kid?
The trailer doesn't give much away, which is always nice, and sets up some pretty tasty scares. So whaddya think? Gonna give it a go this weekend? Here's a short clip from the film to further stoke the fires of your appetite...
