Alright, I know I should let it go, but I just can't. I mean, it's been about a week and there are still things that bug me about this trailer so Feige and Whedon have done well! First let's start with the one that still lingers:

1. The WHOLE HAMMER AND 'WORTHINESS' THEME

Ok, at first it was simply the whole thing about Thor dropping his hammer and them making such a BIG deal about it. I mean, as a writer, why would you show that unless it held weight in the story especially seeing that it's Marvel/Disney. If something happens in [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) that makes Thor 'unworthy' it could really set things up for the end game in Thor: Ragnarok. Image the dark times that fall upon Asgard. Loki rules disguised as Odin, Thor is no longer the warrior for Asgard he used to be and, then, the legions of Surtur descend upon the kingdom to destroy the nine realms. It definitely has plenty of pathos. I'd write it that way, for sure.

The new version of the Avengers 2 trailer solidifies my concern here. They make a big production about being worthy. this makes it thematic in my eyes. It's something they need to work on throughout the movie. And, Thor dropping the hammer is just a continuation of this theme. Is it dropped out of shock? Did he get forced to drop his hammer because Ultron has someone hostage? Or is it both? He drops it out of shock and unbelief as Ultron kills someone he loves dearly. It's one of these, i'd bet!

2. WHY IS WANDA MAXIMOFF SCREAMING?

This worries me. Something has upset Wanda Maximoff. And, as far as we know, the only person she has that kind of bond with is her brother, Peitro. Did something happen to him? Is he about to become another casualty in the Marvel/Fox war? How many heroes have to die for you to be happy, Joss Whedon?!!??! But seriously, I see a lot of dark turns in Avengers 2. I also see a lot of fan-boys walking out of the theaters with shell-shocked looks on their faces. It will take weeks (maybe years) of therapy to recover from this one people. I mean, at least, till [Ant-Man](movie:9048) comes out later next year.

I just pity the Cinematic Universe that has to face the wrath of an angered Scarlet Witch. As we have seen in the past, there is no limit to what she is capable of. I've only got three words for ya...NO MORE MUTANTS!

And, while we're on the subject....

3. IS THIS ORANGE CLOUD MORE THAN IT APPEARS?

What in the orange hell is going on here? Is this simply smoke from a normal fire? Or did Ultron unleash something upon the Earth that will change the way we look at Marvel in the years to come? Or maybe it wasn't Ultron. Maybe it was Baron Von Strucker and Hydra. But no matter who unleashed this orange 'mist', the real question on every comic aficionado's lips is;

Is this Terrigen Mist?

For the sake of those NOT in the know, Terrigen Mist is the substance used by the Inhumans that mutates some of their people. It is also the nerd boy football that's being passed around as the replacement for X-Men style Mutants if the rumors of the Marvel/Fox war are true. IF they are doing the full replacement for mutants, this orange cloud could be just that. I wouldn't put it past Marvel at all. At this point, they could do just about anything they want.

LOVE TO SPECULATE? OR JUST LOVE GEEKY STUFF LIKE THE AVENGERS, THE JLA, FLASH, DR WHO OR CONSTANTINE?
