Marvel might blame Hydra for spoiling things for fans, but it seems that one of their own is responsible for the latest whisper concerning Avengers: Age of Ultron and an appearance from characters we didn’t know we’d see again. Not in this comic book film at least. Speaking to The Telegraph, Luther star, dedicated DJ and just all-round legend Idris Elba spilled some secretive beans telling the paper he’d be appearing in the upcoming Avengers sequel - alongside Tom flippin’ Hiddleston.

Explaining that he’d be in one scene before all mechanised hell breaks loose for our heroes next year, Elba said in total matter-of-fact terms, "I'm in Avengers, and I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they're like, [whispers] - 'Aren't you [meant to be] in Ibiza?’”

As it turns out, after doing himself a set at Ibiza Rocks recently, Elba squeezed in some time to don that massive headgear and guard the Bifrost, presumably before Thor zips back down to help us out with Stark’s latest invention gone awry. The interesting detail is Hiddleston though, who was last seen in Thor: The Dark World giving audiences that mischievous grin after fooling his half-brother into thinking he was gone. How will this all pan out? What does it all mean? Could we have a bonus scene at the end of Ultron even though there are four films between that and Thor: Ragnarok? It certainly seems a tad early to be doing so? We can only wait for more details on this interesting little bit of info or before Age of Ultron arrives next year.
