(Note, potential SPOILERS for Avengers: Age of Ultron below...)
Now, with all the massive Marvel announcement-related awesomeness that's been floating around lately, there have been a few things that have kind of fallen by the wayside. After all - the Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Inhumans are all sounding fantastic and all, but it's Avengers: Age of Ultron that's coming up next, and there's a whole lot about that movie that we don't yet know...
Like, for instance, just what's happening with that whole Hulk and Black Widow romance thing? Just why is Tony having to use that Hulkbuster armor? What's up with the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver? And, most pressingly, why haven't we had a proper look at The Vision yet?
Well, thankfully - we might just have the answers to all those questions. And, better yet - our first real glimpse of The Vision...
Meet Your New Favorite A.I.
Specifically, take a look at this still from the recent Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop! special...
That guy with the stripes, in the back there?
That's totally The Vision - I mean, take a look at it compared with our previous glimpse of the hero from the San Diego Comic Con poster:
That's absolutely The Vision, in person, hanging out on the set...
That's not the only awesome Marvel news that's come out in the past week, though. MTV had the chance to visit the Avengers: Age of Ultron set, and were able to reveal a few pretty substantial details from the movie, including...
More Details on THAT Romance
As MTV put it:
"Ruffalo, who has previously said more to journalists than Marvel would like, acknowledged a budding relationship, but wouldn’t elaborate. He was being extra careful this time not to divulge too much. "There’s a really important relationship," he said before adding, "I was just happy that I was in the movie at all.""
Which means, from the sounds of it, we'll definitely be seeing a decent dash of Hulk/Widow romance in the movie...
Ultron is Messing With the Internet
MTV's roving journalist wasn't able to find out exactly what, but from the sounds of it, it's nothing friendly.
The Science Bros are Totally Living Together
Specifically, Bruce Banner now has an apartment in Avengers (previously Stark) Tower, and the pair share a lab. So there's some guaranteed Bro-ing coming our way.
It Sounds as Though Banner Helped Create The Vision
Ruffalo has reportedly been heard referring to him as "my baby" - so it seems Ultron may have less of a hand in creating the character than in the comics.
The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's Origins Have Been Rebooted
Anyone else thinking that the term 'Inhumans' is going to replace 'Mutants' in the MCU?
And, possibly biggest of all...
THAT Hulk/Hulkbuster Fight Might Just Have a Twist to it
As Mark Ruffalo puts it:
"[The fight] has a surprise, a little twist to it as well.”
Someone other than Tony in the Iron Man armor, perhaps?
