One small step for Rockstar, One Giant leap for gamers!
Rockstar has finalized its next gen versions of GTA 5 and boy do they look swish. Not happy to settle with a simple upgrade in framerate and an empty promise of an all new experience just by changing platforms, Rockstar has added an all new First Person aspect to the legendary series.
GTA 5 on current gen looked superb with no real need to look any better. However, as you can see from the video later in the article, you really can improve on perfection. The new hardware has allowed Rockstar to not only improve on the aesthetics of the game, but add more content to the environment: More people on the streets, more trees in the woods, fog in the mornings... the list is pretty endless in terms of what the next gen platforms give title, compared to Current.
Take a look at the all new First Person Mode in GTA 5. Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Grand Theft Auto 5, this new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world's glorious details in an entirely new way.
Graphics comparison Old Gen onto New
As good-looking as GTA 5 is on PS3 and Xbox 360, and as alive as it feels, this is something else entirely. This isn’t GTA peeking its head into the new generation; this is GTA kicking down the door and cartwheeling directly into the epicenter of the party, much to the envy of those who just spent the last 12 months warming up over by the crackers and dip.
It’s beautiful, it’s denser than ever, and I’ve barely scratched the surface. This is GTA 5 on a current generation console; the PS4, to be specific. This is not simply GTA 5 upscaled; that much is already clear. This is GTA 5 upgraded, on every level.
Although most of the actual content will remain the same, there will be new weapons including high tech railguns, 20 new varieties of animals and wildlife (including cats and dogs, possibly living together), new side missions for Michael and Franklin, and hundreds of new radio tunes.
These videos look simply amazing, talk about leaping into next gen gaming! What are your thoughts on the First Person Mode and move to PS4 and XboxOne?
