Quentin Tarantino's much-anticipated Wyoming-based western [The Hateful Eight](movie:1216087) just got a whole lot bigger. Today, confirmed that two new cast members have joined the film. Hollywood heartthrob Channing Tatum and Academy Award-nominated actor Demian Bichir have joined the cast in unspecified roles.

They will be joining an ensemble cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth and Kurt Russell.

This movie will be Demian Bichir's first wide release film since Machete Kills, and will add to Channing Tatum's massively expanding filmography.

Just this year, Tatum has appeared in four high-profile films: 22 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, The Book of Life, and the critically acclaimed Foxcatcher. It is unknown how big of a role he will play in The Hateful Eight, but expect him to get top billing with Bichir.

The Hateful Eight is expected for release on December, 2015 (likely a Christmas release like Django Unchained).
