Now, over the years, a lot of people have wondered whether or not the Joker and Harley Quinn could ever really make a go of things, and settle down to a life of psychopathic wedded bliss together. We may never find out for sure whether that'd work out in the comics or on screen - but, thanks to an enterprising real life couple, the duo may just have got a taste of that marital joy in real life.

Specifically, a couple just got married as the Joker and Harley Quinn - and, in the process, won at marriage.

As Imgur user MCAddict revealed on the site a few days ago, she really did just marry The Joker this past Saturday - or, rather, her brand-spanking new husband was dressed as him.

The best part, though? The wedding - which seems distinctly real, unless a wedding magazine has ingeniously and covertly set the whole thing up - was full to bursting with comic-book legends.

So, we're talking...

The Clown Prince (and Princess) of Crime

Aka the bride and groom (Ryan and Ali) - who hopefully didn't go on a crime spree after the ceremony.

Who Couldn't Be Much More Adorable...

Especially with the bad-ass Batman tattoos - though I'm not sure the real Harley would approve...

Or Glamorous...

And substantially kick-ass.

And Then There's the Wedding Party

Which surely has reached peak awesome, right?

Not even close - because of course...

Iron Man Walked the Bride Down the Aisle...

Because Tony Stark is nothing if not chivalrous...

Bane and Wonder Woman Put Aside Their Differences...

Although you'd have to imagine she tried to take him down once the couple were on their Honeymoon.

The Riddler and Poison Ivy Didn't Try to Murder Anyone

Again, though, presumably just until the Honeymoon had started.

Wolverine and Catwoman Proved that They're a Match Made in Animal Heaven...

It makes so much sense!

And, of course...

Batman Officiated the Ceremony

Because apparently there's only one thing that the Dark Knight loves more than stopping criminals, and that's a happy ending...

And This Most Certainly Was a Happy Ending

Just...so much so...

So congratulations, Ryan and Ali. You win at weddings - and at generally being awesome. Although, that being said, Sabastian Van Esch and Kristen Spearey, who recently got married at the Saskatoon Comic & Entertainment Expo, are pretty much killing it too...

Wow...the Joker really likes weddings, huh?

What do you guys think? Adorable, or not so much?
