While she's still stuck with Kai in the hell that is Mystic Falls in 1994, it has been revealed that the bad luck will only get even worse for poor Bonnie in Season 6 of [The Vampire Diaries](series:200853).

In the last episode, "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here," Bonnie was shocked to discover that Kai might not know the spell to take them back home to present day Mystic Falls, and swiftly disposed of Kai with an ax through his heart.

However as Damon and Bonnie later struggled with the object that might be their way back home, Kai rose from the dead and got his revenge by stabbing Bonnie. Ouch! Damon, believing Bonnie was dead (or close to it) managed to get back to present-day Mystic falls, though carrying a huge burden of guilt for his fallen friend.

While being condemned to live out 1994 with the horrible Kai (who is shaping up to be quite the villain) might seem like punishment enough, executive producer Caroline Dries reveals that it's even worse for Bonnie than we imagined, telling TV Guide:

With Bonnie left behind with Kai we'll see basically a horror movie for her and she's desperately trying to find a way out without letting Kai back. It's this endless bad dream for her.

Oh no! It seems like over the duration of the entire show, Bonnie is just one character who just cannot catch a break!

However long Bonnie spends in her own personal '90s horror film, I hope somehow she figures out a way to get her home safe and sound before any more bad luck can befall her, she deserves a nice quiet life...Though if that's what she's after, then Mystic Falls probably isn't the place for her!

Do you think Bonnie will ever make it back to present-day Mystic Falls?
