An image of what appears to be the main villain of the next Marvel Studios film, Ant-Man, has leaked online and is making its rounds across the internet. Yellowjacket, a villain set to be played by Corey Stoll, is said to have his costumed designed as seen below. While in the comics, the wings seem to be more biological, the film's iteration is by all means bionic.

This may not seem like much, this definitely provides a reasonable way to include The Wasp, a major female character in the original drafts of the Avengers film who was later written out and replaced by Black Widow. If Yellowjacket is defeated in the movie, could we see actress Evangeline Lily's Hope van Dyne using an alternate version of the costume to become The Wasp?

There's still controversy over the validity of the image: could it have been fabricated? Let's listen to what actor Corey Stoll has told us about the Yellowjacket costume so far, and then we can determine things from there. On the topic of the Ant-Man suit, Stoll has described the suit best during two occasions. I present, description #1:

Now, in our story, I'm Darren Cross who is one of the characters in the comic books and he invents this suit that can do everything that the Ant-Man suit can do, plus more. It's more militaristic, it's more advanced, it's armored... and then he is Yellowjacket.

Now, due to Marvel's super strict privacy policy about what's happening behind the scenes, many times their actors end up practically scripting themselves on what they can and can't say. Here's a perfect example, as you can hear major points that Stoll repeats in another interview about the film.

Darren Cross, who was in the comic books but was not Yellowjacket in the comic books, he has a suit that is sort of the next generation of Ant-Man’s suit. It can do everything that Ant-Man can do, but more. It’s more badass, more militaristic, sleeker… sort of like if Apple had designed a battle suit. I just think the battles and the stuff that we're going to do is gonna be so cool.

Badass, militaristic, sleeker, advanced, armored, looks like it's made by Apple. I say the leak accurately fits the description pretty dang well! Could this be the real deal? I sure hope so! Ant-Man grows more promising with every inkling we learn, even if it is, well, Ant-Man.

Marvel Studios' Ant-Man hits theaters next Summer on July 17th, 2015.
