Christopher Nolan's latest film takes us into space and across dimensions! This marks Nolan's first directorial project since concluding The Dark Knight Trilogy. Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway star in this tale that truly is out of this world! Don't worry no spoilers.

I'll start off by saying I am a huge Christopher Nolan fan. I've seen every single one of his movies including Following. It was exciting to see him step away from the comic-book genre to try something totally new for him in science-fiction. This movie has been on everyone's lists for most must-see movies of 2014.

When the trailers first started coming out for this movie I was a little underwhelmed to be honest. It looked very generic and the plot seemed "bleh". I was totally wrong and I'm glad to say it!

If you would like to watch my review that is 100% free of any spoilers whatsoever you can go ahead and click on this video below!

As seen in my video review this movie is by no means perfect, but it is one of the best films of the year. Nolan shows YET AGAIN that he is one of the few directors in Hollywood alongside the likes of Martin Scorsese, Quinten Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, and the Cohen Brothers that when he has a movie coming at that year everyone needs to pay attention.

Honestly, there were only a few faults I had with this movie. The sound mixing/editing really bugged me. Nolan's team had similar issues with The Dark Knight, Inception and The Dark Knight Rises. There are sections when we are supposed to be hearing the dialogue and it's ROARING into our ears making the particular dialogue of the scene impossible to hear. If you were watching this at home you would constantly be turning the volume up and down which is terribly annoying.

Besides the sound the only other issue I had was one 15/20 minute section of the movie that REALLY complicated things. There had to be one question that rang into everyone's head across the millions of theaters and that question was "wait, what?" I'm all for movies making us think but this certain part made me ACTUALLY scratch my head in the theaters.

Other then those two problems the rest of the film was stunning. The acting across the board was fantastic. The visuals, the writing, the direction from Nolan left me astonished on how he makes it look so easy. This movie is a wonderful addition to great science-fiction adventures. There were scenes that made me cry and I'm not ashamed to say it. If you didn't you may not have a soul. Even though it was just a hair under 3 hours long, it didn't feel like it.
