Suffering from a post-Fallout hangover after spending the whole weekend wandering the many dusty crevices of the Capital Wasteland? Well here's a little hair of the dog, traveller, to reinvigorate your weary eyes!
The genius that is redditor VaultoftheSix put on an amazing looking retro-futuristic Fallout themed birthday/Halloween house party, made complete by the creation of his very own vault - Vault 30. Cause he just turned thirty, get it? Let's have a look!
Project: Safehouse Presents...
Fallout's vaults were originally created to safely house thousands of people in case of a nuclear holocaust. But little did the populous, and latterly the inhabitants of said vaults, know that the vaults would house secret experiments. Mysterious...
Here we have the creation of Vault 30's door. Look at these two working like good little cogs in the party machine!
Here it is propped up against the garage. I wonder what kind of safeguards they'll install to deter burglars? Ah, I guess they'll just close the garage door.
Comparing the in-game to real world vaults, I'm pretty impressed by their work. The lights and the fog machine really set the apocalyptic tone. Makes me think of a spaceship's blast doors being opened on an alien world.
All done and they're already getting on it! The paint job looks great on the door. I wonder how it'd look at night?
Ah so that's how it looks then - pretty cool. That's handy!
And now the varying cast of smoothskins arrive, complete with the obligatory unimpressed steampunk pirate.
This chocolate - raspberry Vault Boy cake looks exceptional!
So there we have it, best birthday ever or what?! Wonder how long it would take to turn my home into a birthday Batcave? Better start stocking up on cardboard!
