Now that the excitement over Blizzcon 2014 has settled and turned into mush in the Anaheim Convention Center carpark, we can relax and reflect over the huge news that came out of Blizzard's expo-extravaganza.

WoW Is Ten!

Amongst the other news, to celebrate ten years of World of Warcraft being the stalwart of the MMORPG world, Blizzard has released an hour long documentary charting the history of the franchise.

Titled World Of Warcraft: Looking For Group, the Asylum Entertainment produced docu recounts the game's humble, pre-release beginnings as it transformed into the juggernaut we know it as today.

It's definitely one for die hard MMORPG fans being over an hour long, its behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with cosplayers and developers, so tread carefully ye non-believers!

In Other News...

There wasn't much news surrounding the long serving MMORPG, besides (fanfare) a brand spanking new expansion named Warlords of Draenor!

Blizzard's first new franchise in over 17 years, Overwatch is a team-based shooter in which you star as a variety of characters, including an armored gorilla. Boom. This is pretty massively cool news, check out the trailer below.

Looks pretty darn tasty right? Due to go into beta testing in 2015, you can sign up for it here. But don't be disheartened if you don't get selected, imagine the volume of people that will be going for it and just be quicker!

So later, cozy up on your sofa, or bean bag if that's how you choose to live your life, and enjoy the history of Warcraft and the beginnings of Blizzard's new IP. For now, let's raise a glass to Warcraft. Many happy returns!
