Dr.Doom is arguably the greatest villain in the Marvel Comics stable.

If there would be anything that could possibly save next year's "Fantastic Four" film from increasingly certain...well, DOOM, it would be having Doom portrayed as the powerful, ruthless and cunning monarch we all know so well.

Consider those hopes officially quashed. This film chages both the origin of the character and his iconic last name.

It's true.

In an interview with "Collider", actor Toby Kebbell - who will play the character in the bad buzz-filled reboot - had this to say:

“He’s Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom in our story. And I’m sure I’ll be sent to jail for telling you that. The Doom in ours—I’m a programmer. Very anti-social programmer. And on blogging sites I’m “Doom”.

So Dr. Doom goes from being a sorcerer, an engineer, a scientist and dictatorial despot without peer to....a blogger.

Wow. That is just SO impressive, isn't it?

Explaining how...uhhhh...VICTOR DOMASHEV...grrrr... fits into the overall picture, Kebbell explained:

“Yeah, it was cool man. Josh, the whole deal, the lo-fi way he did it, the ultra-real. It was just nice to do that. It was nice to be feeling like we had to come to terms with what was given by this incident.”

Yeah. A low-budget - I mean, LO-FI take of the "Ultra-Real" Four vs. the "Antisocial Programmer" without peer, Victor Domashev.

Wow..I mean, that just makes me want to order my tickets through Fandango right now (Sarcasm)...

This continues to smell like a steaming pile lie we may have never seen before.

Maybe they can blurb that last line for the movie posters.

Because it would be truth in advertising.
