Blizzard is really pushing the boat out with the promotion of their new WoW expansion Warlords Of Draenor, as they bring the buzz to New York City's Times Square and a seemingly unsuspecting taxi cab!

Yellow Cab vs. Mega Axe

I'm guessing you already know that this is a seriously impressive full-scale replica of Grom Hellscream's two-handed axe, Gorehowl sticking out of the top of a New York taxi cab?

The ex-chieftain of the Warsong clan's mighty weapon can be utilized in-game after defeating Prince Malchezaar, the Man'ari eredar raid boss that can be found at the top of Karazhan.

This incredible stunt was put on in Times Square to promote the new World of Warcraft expansion Warlords of Draenor. The tape around the advert is cleverly branded with the expansion's URL and twitter hashtag. Pretty good move guys, you don't want to incite a mass panic!

I could just imagine the tourists' reactions to this, "ALIENS! I knew we should've stayed away from that comet!"

At least this marketing stunt is a little bit more sane than Azeroth Choppers. Did any of you see that?

The American Chopper spinoff where two teams of builders, advised by members of WoW's development team, built real life motorbikes based on the Alliance and Hoarde factions in WoW? Here's the trailer!

The winning bike would become available as a free in-game mount for either Alliance or Hoarde faction members on Warlords of Draenor. The losing design would become available for purchase later. That's just mental. But kinda cool, I guess.

So World of Warcraft: Warlords Of Draenor is out right now, so get on it people! Hurry!
