QUICK! Pack your bags for Austin, Texas because the finest '90s/noughties revival of the century is about to go down there!

The beloved TV classics Dawson's Creek and Gilmore Girls are both all set to have big reunions and I can't even begin to put into words how excited I am to see Loralai and Rory gloriously reunited!

The event to make any millenial worth their salt quiver with anticipation is The ATX Television Festival's Season 4 Fest, an event that aims to celebrate all things TV with a focus on dearly departed cult classics.

Quivering with excitement

Both Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and the man behind Dawson's Creek, Kevin Williamson, will be blowing the dust off their retro writing muscles to bring us fresh portions of the shows to devour.

Although none of the Dawson's Creek cast have commented just yet, Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham issued this typically Lorelai-esque statement:

So, after years of peace and quiet, these lunatics have chosen to get the chattiest chicks in the world back under one roof? Really? Okay. You asked for it....Gilmore was the highlight of my ridiculous life. I can't wait to sit with these unbelievable broads and relive a time where sleep did not exist, where stress and coffee were mama's little helpers, and where we all dove into the deep end together to make something weird and very very cool

But, how have our fave teen idols stood against the test of time, and more importantly, has Dawson sorted out that terrible haircut?

Gilmore Girls

Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore)

Age Now: 47

What's She Been Up To? After landing her breakthrough role as Lorelai Gilmore, Lauren Graham decided to shift the focus of her career to the big screen and landed roles in Evan Almighty, Bad Santa and Sweet November.

The 47-year-old actress has also had a whirl around broadway (113 shows to be precise!) as Miss Adelaide in the revival of Guys and Dolls and penned a novel entitled 'Someday, Someday, Maybe: A Novel' about the New York acting scene.

The spring chickens among us will probably know Lauren Graham best for her second most famous TV role as Sarah Braverman in [Parenthood](series:749533) which she took on in 2009 after Maura Tierney sadly left to seek cancer treatment.

Fun Fact: Lauren Graham wanted to be a jockey when she was younger, but unfortunately, she was too tall.

Alexis Biedel (Rory Gilmore)

Age Now: You are going to feel so old when you read this, but little Rory is now THIRTY THREE!

What's She Been Up To? After her seven year stint as Rory, Alexis Biedel also embraced the big screen like her on-screen mom. Biedel's most famous role to date is probably as Becky in Sin City, but you might also recognize her from coming of age classic, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Fun Fact: Alexis Biedel got into acting after her parents encouraged her to attend community theater to conquer her crippling shyness.

Scott Patterson (Luke Danes)

Age Now: 56

What's He Been Up To? Apart from looking pretty damned fine for his age (I'll always love you, Luke!), Scott Patterson has had a couple of notable roles that you can drool at him in.

Patterson played Agent Agent Peter Strahm in Saw IV and Saw V and nabbed himself a leading TV role as Michael Buchanan in the NBC extra terrestrial drama THE EVƎNT.

Fun Fact: Scott James was a professional baseball pitcher between 1980 and 1986

Melissa McCarthey (Sookie St. James)

Age Now: 44

What's She Been Up To? Of all of the Gilmore Girls gals, it was the unassuming Sookie who became the biggest star.

After leaving Stars Hollow for the final time, McCarthey stayed in the world of TV for two years as Dena in the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? before breaking into the big screen.

McCarthey's crowning cinematic glory to date is playing Megan in the side-splitting Bridesmaids but you can also see her in action in [The Hangover Part III](movie:348844) and [Tammy](movie:897758), which she also wrote and produced.

Fun Fact: It's not just a coincidence that Melissa shares a surname with Jenny McCarthy, this pair are actually first cousins!

Dawson's Creek

James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery)

Age Now: 37

What's He Been Up To? After playing Dawson Creek's floppy haired namesake for six years, James Van Der Beek never really managed to achieve such levels of stardom again.

The actor has taken on guest roles in [How I Met Your Mother](series:200728) , One Tree Hill and Ugly Betty, and also tried his hand at a few big screen outings with his turn as Sean Bateman in The Rules of Attraction being by far the best.

Fun Fact: James Van Der Beek was part of an all-male a cappella group in college.

Katie Holmes (Joey Potter)

Age Now: 35

What's She Been Up To? Katie Holmes is most famous for marrying the grand master of Scientology, Tom Cruise, and then fleeing in the night with their daughter Suri to escape the religion. She's also done an impressive amount of acting for good measure.

Holmes' is totally at home on the silver screen and her most famous roles are playing Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins and starring alongside Adam Sandler in Jack and Jill.

Fun Fact: Katie Holmes was born two months premature weighing just four pounds.

Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter)

Age Now: 36

What's She Been Up To? After being totally the best character in Dawson's Creek, Joshua Jackson has appeared in over 32 movie roles.

Despite making it on the silver screen, Jackson didn't abandon his TV roots and his second most famous role is probably as Peter Bishop in [Fringe](series:201468).

Arguably, Jackson's best movie role is as Blaine Tuttle in the teen classic Cruel Intentions, but surprisingly, this movie was released before Dawson's Creek. He has also appeared in the terrifying Shutter and Americano.

Fun Fact: Joshua Jackson's grandparents were opera singers in Dublin, Ireland

Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley)

Age Now: 34

What's She Been Up To? Despite having multiple successful movie roles, people still probably remember Michelle Williams for the tragic loss of her ex-fiancee, Heath Ledger, in 2007.

Understandably, the actress took some time out of the spotlight to raise her young daughter and grieve, but she is very much back in the saddle now with award winning classics such as My Week with Marilyn under her belt.

Williams also dazzles in Blue Valentine, Shutter Island, and Brokeback Mountain.

Fun Fact: Michelle Williams was once roomates with Christina Ricci
