Two-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz has been tipped to play the villain in Sam Mendes' new, currently untitled Bond movie!
The news comes from The Daily Mail columnist, Baz Bamigboye, who confirmed Waltz:
will play a ‘significant’ role in the untitled Bond 24 movie that will begin filming early next month.
Although it hasn't yet been officially confirmed what role Waltz will take, Bamigboye did say that someone involved with the movie's production let slip that his character would be "extremely cunning" - "A nemesis of sorts."
It makes sense to assume this will be Daniel Craig's next formidable foe, considering Waltz's predilection for playing bad guys.
He was superb as the unsettlingly sinister Hans Landa (pictured above in Tarantino's alternate history-flick, Inglourious Basterds, and will hopefully bring that same menacing streak to Bond 24.
Tarantino's golden boy will join Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, and Dave Bautista on the cast list.
The film is set for release on November 6, 2015.
