Verne Troyer, best known as Dr. Evil's psychopathic clone sidekick Mini-Me in the Austin Powers movies, is returning to our screens...this time playing a psychopathic, murderous gnome in the incoming, straight to DVD fright fest Gnome Alone. Yikes!

The film, directed by Timothy Woodward Jr. and John Michael Elfers, details the trials of shy and retiring student Zoe who receives a magical amulet from a dying hit and run victim.

The amulet causes any person that has ever offended or hurt Zoe to die in mysterious and gruesome ways. After realizing the terrible truth behind the amulet, Zoe embarks on a race against time to stop The Gnome from murdering those dearest to her.

It's good to see Verne Troyer flexing his Thespian muscles again as the horrible, yet strangely well trimmed gnome. I'll definitely be checking this one out for, hopefully, incredibly inventive deaths! Someone getting their face eaten off by a rancorous garden accessory is a thumbs up in my horror rulebook.

Gnome Alone will be straight gnomin' in your home on DVD and VOD from January 20th.

Will you allow this gnome into your home?
