Fox have released a brand new clip for Ridley Scott's budget-busting biblical epic, Exodus: Gods and Kings - but the accents in it don't quite seem appropriate.

The movie stars Christian Bale as Moses - God's messenger and defiant leader of the fleeing Israelites - and Joel Edgerton as Pharaoh Ramses, who attempts to impede the liberation of his slaves. The action-packed new teaser features the British-Australian Caucasian duo waging war in Egypt, but talking as if they rode their horses all the way from Great Britannia! Though the accents seem a little incongruous, I can't fault the scene's grand scale and visual splendor.

Check out some of the best parts:

The delicate alliance between the two brothers is still just about intact, though they disagree about battle tactics for the impending attack.

These (possibly) antagonistic forces are yet to be identified, but they look a lot like barbarians.

Ramses fearlessly leads his men into war. Joel Edgerton somehow manages to still look like a bad-ass in that golden fish-scale number.

And the clip cuts out just when it gets interesting. I guess we'll have to wait until December 12th to see what kind of carnage ensues.
