Welcome one, welcome all to the Top 9 Marvel Phase 3 Movies! This list will be consisted of my personal picks for the top Marvel Phase 3 Movies that were announced this year that I'm looking forward to. Also, this list is my own personal picks and everyone is allowed to voice their opinion, so don't destroy each other in the comments!
Anyway, let's start a war, build a Gauntlet and start this list!
Number 9: Captain Marvel
Release date: July 6, 2018
Info: Nothing yet sadly
Now, when I first heard Captain Marvel was in the line up for Phase 3, I was a little taken back. I thought it was extremely random at first (because I didn't know much about her) and the release date was in between Avengers Part 1 and 2. But, now I know more about her and realized the release date was just fine, I'm pretty excited to see what the "first leading girl" Marvel movie will actually do! However... there are other movies I'm more excited about.
MY FACTS: I'm more in favor of a [Captain Marvel](movie:949779) movie than a Black Widow movie!
Number 8: Doctor Strange
Release date: November 4, 2016
Info: Scott Derrickson (Director), Jon Spaihts (Screenwriter), Benedict Cumberbatch (Most likely [Doctor Strange](movie:559685))
The Sorcerer Supreme is coming! I was pretty thrilled to not only hear Stephen Strange was coming to the big screen, but it was going to be earlier than I thought which is great. I also love that the movie is coming out towards the end of the year because I feel there aren't enough super exciting movies that come out around that time. And of course, we've got Sherlock Holmes most likely playing the doctor. So, a lot of good things are coming from Doctor Strange!
MY FACTS: I really wanted Liam Neeson to play Doctor Strange!
Number 7: The Inhumans
Release date: November 2, 2018
Info: Joe Robert Cole (Screenwriter), Vin Diesel (HOPEFULLY Black Bolt)
I was also surprised by this announcement (along with Captain Marvel), but in a better way. I heard all of the rumors about Marvel making an Inhuman movie and I really didn't buy them, it felt random for Marvel to do it. Of course I was proven wrong and now I'm totally stoked for it! I've always been a huge fan of Black Bolt and just thinking about him being in a movie and later fighting with the Avengers is incredible! Especially if Vin Diesel plays the man himself, I just have a lot of hype for this movie.
MY FACTS: I posted an article about [The Inhumans](movie:910490) Villains we CRAVE two days before it was actually announced! Check it out HERE if you want!
Number 6: Black Panther
Release date: November 3, 2017
Info: Mark Bailey (Screenwriter), Chadwick Boseman ([Black Panther](movie:9047))
At first, I wasn't totally sold on the film, but once I saw the picture above - I lost my mind. Not only did Marvel show they have great casting abilities, but also great costume designs. I'm extremely excited to see how they will do the movie and what will happen to the Panther after his movie is over. This movie is just jam-packed with excitement and makes it a must see for me.
MY FACTS: People are saying Black Panther won't get an origin movie, but I'm actually in favor for it.
Number 5: Thor: Ragnarok
Release date: July 28, 2017
Info: Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost (Screenwriters), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and more!
I wish I could put this movie at number 2 or 3 because I was hoping for some Beta Ray Bill, but I'm still pumped. It's exciting because Ragnarok is the Apocalypse, so a lot of stuff should go down and Thor could possibly die. Now just even the possibility of Thor dying is huge and makes me super excited. I have amazingly high expectations for this movie and hoping it does better than the other two Thor movies (which weren't that bad)!
MY FACTS: I really wanted the third movie to be about Beta Ray Bill and Gorr the God Butcher!
Number 4: Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Release date: May 5, 2017
Info: All of the original cast and most of the original crew!
I'm so excited that on May 5, 2017, I'm going to go to the theater and have another amazing and fun time. Guardians was the underdog movie of the decade and the sequel should totally live up to that. My expectations are through the roof for this movie and could be number 2 if we had more details, but sadly we don't know much. It's still going to be great, though!
MY FACTS: Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite Marvel movie!
Number 3: Avengers: Infinity War Part 1
Release date: May 4, 2018
Info: Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Maybe), Chris Evan (Maybe), and many others!
This is the start of the end! Of course this would be towards the top! It's an Avengers movie for Skittles sake, but not only that, it is the beginning of the end of some great acting! I could type your eyes out about how this movie is going to be sweet, but that would take ages. I'm sure that most of you will take my word that this is going to be an amazing movie and go see it the day it premieres!
MY FACTS: I'm expecting this movie to hit over 1.5 billion dollars!
Number 2: Captain America: Civil War
Release date: May 6, 2016
Info: Anthony and Joe Russo (Directors), Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (Screenwriters), Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther)
I went absolutely crazy when I heard this! I was worried that Avengers 3 was going to be 'Civil War' and I wouldn't of agreed with that, but now that Captain America 3 is the 'Civil War,' I'm super pumped to see it. Also, like Thor, Chris Evans could die in the film, which I wouldn't totally agree with, but it's still exciting to see if it happens! I'm ready for the fighting, baby!
MY FACTS: I would love this movie even more if they teased Baron Zemo!
Number 1: Ant-Man
Did I get you? Well I'm sorry for bamboozling you, I just love to have fun with my posts! It's not like I'm not excited for Ant-Man, it's just a mess right now.
REAL FACT: Ant-Man isn't even in Phase 3 anymore...Gosh I tell bad jokes...
Real Number 1: Avengers: Infinity War Part II
Release date: May 3, 2019
Info: Everyone that was in Part I (probably, if people don't die)
I'm sure this was predictable, but it's just true! Who doesn't want to see the end of the Avengers and the start of new actors and stories?! There is not much explaining to do here because it's clearly obvious.
MY FACTS: I bet this movie will go over the 2 billion dollar mark and make me cry!
Do you agree with my list? What is your list? Are you more pumped for what DC has to offer over Marvel? Go ahead and tell me in the comments, take the poll and follow me for more incredible articles!
