For those of you that don’t know the Movie Backlot podcast is geekedoutnation.coms Movie podcast. 1. Margot Robbie to Play Harley Quinn in SUICIDE SQUAD

2. Terminator: Genisys and Divergent actor Jai Courtneyis reportedly “in talks” to play Deadshot in writer-director David Ayer’sSuicide Squad, which the filmmaker has pitched as being like The Dirty Dozen with supervillains. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/11/13/jai-courtney-eyed-to-play-deadshot-in-suicide-squad

3. Daniel Bruhl (Rush, Inglourious Basterds) has been cast as the villain in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. 4. Jude Law is in negotiations to play the villain in director Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur pic, Knights of the Round Table, slated for July 22, 2016. Charlie Hunnam is set to play King Arthur. Meanwhile, Ritchie seeing actors for the part of Arthur’s mentor — the last role to be cast before shooting starts. 6. Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt to play Nathan Drake in Sony’s long-gestating movie version of Uncharted. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Star-Lord actor was offered the lead role of fortune hunter Nathan Drake but passed. Mark Wahlberg, who had been attached to star when David O. 8. Universal Chairman Donna Langley said, “We think there’s at least three more.” Langley went on to say that she thinks it’s still a growing franchise, pointing to continued growth internationally.
