Were you a fan of Chronicle and/or The Butterfly Effect? If so you might be interested in the upcoming adolescent time-travel science fiction flick, Project Almanac.

The film, directed by Dean Israelite and produced by Michael Bay, has just released a second trailer showing a nice mix between high school comedy hi-jinx and sci-fi action. Check it out below:

A group of teens discover secret plans of a time machine, and construct one. However, things start to get out of control.

It seems Project Almanac certainly has its fans. The movie is currently unrated by critics, but it does have a healthy 8.0 on IMDB. Of course, considering the movie hasn't received a wide release yet, this could be due to people who just liked the trailer... or perhaps time-travelers?

Project Almanac arrives in US theaters on 30 January 2015.
