On this Thanksgiving, i would like to just state that there is SO MUCH to be thankful for - as both a genre fan and a person.

I am thankful, first of all, for my health and friends and family.

Beyond that, I am thankful that MoviePilot exists. It is SUCH a great place to discuss movies AND for those of us like me that are lucky enough, write about them.

I am thankful to MoviePilot's Editor-In-Chief, Alisha Grauso, who not only works tirelessly on this site, but often gives me important things to think about. Was very happy to meet her in person - along with the also-fabulous Catrina Dennis - in person at New York Comic-Con 2014 (see above).

I am thankful to Kat Bacon for getting me going here and answering my e-mails.

I am thankful for what is now over 16 years of good-to-great comic book movies on a consistent basis (starting in 1998 with "Blade") and how it seems we have just scratched the surface. I once thought I might never see a film based on a Marvel character that was even decent. How times have changed!

I am thankful for being able to see more films in the theater in 2014 than I ever have.

I am thankful that 2015 may be a year beyond belief as far as movies, with such films like "Furious 7", "Avengers: Age Of Ultron", "Jurassic World", "Ant-Man", "Bond 24", "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2", "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Mission Impossible 5"having me totally psyched! With "Taken 3", "Jupiter Ascending", "The Divergent Series: Insurgent", "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2", "Mad Max: fury Road", "Inside Out", "The Transporter Legacy", "Ted 2", "Terminator: Genisys", "Minions", "Pan", "Poltergeist", "The Peanuts Movie" and so many others hitting theaters as well, I may be renting space at my local cineplex in 2015! It may be cheaper!

I am thankful that Marvel Studios unveiled their plan and are showing it that Dc/Wb are attempting to, that Fox seems to be expanding their superhero slate as well - along with Sony.

I am thankful many films I never thought I would see - and definitely never thought I would see done right - will be hitting the big screen in the next few years - from "The stand" to a showdown with Thanos to a "Wonder Woman" movie to three more "Avatar" films.

I am thankful that I get to see them develop - and can anticipate even MORE unannounced great films:)

I am thankful for all of you that I interact with on here.
