DreamWorks Animation's new flick is considering moving its June 5th release date to avoid standing in the shadow of Pixar's Inside Out, which makes it debut just two weeks later.

For those of you still in the dark about [B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations](movie:1001512), the official synopsis reads as followed:

The supernatural action comedy follows two bumbling apparitions who find themselves in an extraordinary after-life adventure when they join the Bureau of Otherworldly Operations (B.O.O.) – the ghost world’s elite counter-haunting unit – and ultimately must face off against the planet’s greatest haunter

A spokesperson for DreamWorks Animation spoke out about the release date move and explained that:

We have a release schedule, and there’s going to be a lot of flexibility and maneuverability in that release schedule

He went on to site Marvel's major slate release as a reason for concern, but there was no mention about [Inside Out](movie:332779) in the conference call.

No potential new release date for B.O.O has been given at this time.

Do you think the DreamWorks is right to move their release date?
