So, it's official. Super Smash Bros. is out for Wii U and the general consensus is that this game is amazing. It's challenging enough for diehard fans of the series, and welcoming enough for any newcomer to a Super Smash Bros. game! And I mean come on, 8 player matches?! What more could you possibly ask for!?

Now we can sit back and enjoy the mayhem. But...wait a minute...where's Snake?! *Spotted Metal Gear Noise* There are plenty of characters that didn't make the cut this year and the most obvious examples include Mewtwo and Solid Snake. Mewtwo we know is on the way in Spring 2015, but what about the others?

Legacy Pack

So, unfortunately the way things are done with modern gaming is that we don't get the full package at all, we get the game in pieces and have to pick up the rest along the way. Destiny is the worst example, as Activision literally left nothing else in the game for us to enjoy content-wise. Battlefield 4 is another example.

Though of course Nintendo aren't really seen as a big evil company robbing us of all our money, mainly because we love them. But naturally they want to bring up profits, so we get DLC packs. Well one pack I'd love to see would just be for nostalgic purposes.

Ice Climbers!!
Ice Climbers!!

Roy, Ice Climbers, Wolf and Lucas. These old characters from eons ago would be a wonderful edition to Super Smash. Bros for Wii U and 3DS. Movesets seem to be a very time consuming effort for Sakurai and his teammates. Therefore, I don't think we'll be seeing these little guys for a while as Mewtwo's DLC is already in Spring of next year. I for one want to see all of these guys in a game again, what about yourselves?

Pokemon Trainer

The infamous trainer Red was left out of Smash's fourth iteration, leaving just his Charizard. But why not bring Brendan and May, err...Orlando and Anna, to take his place. The Pokémon trainer could once again have the starters in various stages of evolution or simply have all three fully evolved. The final smash could be each' mega forms. Anyway, we want the Pokemon trainers!

Toad

We all love this little guy, and yeah, sure he's small but so is Olimar and Ness, and they manage just fine! He was the strongest and fastest character in Super Smash Bros. 2 back in the day, so I think we need to acknowledge his glory days by letting him return as his own character in SSB4!

Ridley

And then there’s Ridley: the enormous Metroid baddie that everyone wants to see make it as a Super Smash Bros 4 character. Sakurai has commented on the possible inclusion of Ridley saying the inclusion would probably be impossible. Though if the fans want it bad enough, who’s Nintendo to leave it out.

The dragon looking beast would stand out amongst the rest of the lineup, but Nintendo has been known to please the fans in the past. The Smash Bros 4 team seem to have made its decision regarding Ridley, but fans will continue to have their fingers crossed. And that might just be enough.

Snake

Last but not least, I of course want to see Snake return to this land once more! I mean, I can of course just wait for Metal Gear Solid V (it looks like it'll have enough content to last me a good year anyway) but what happens once that's over? I really hope that Nintendo bring back the boss, he's sorely missed in SSB4.

I'm sure he can sneak his way into SSB4!
