As if we couldn't all be excited enough for the incoming Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Games has released the first of three epic gameplay videos that showcase the immense action that will occur in-game once the curtain is lifted for the very last time.
And when I say immense, I mean "AAAH, IT LOOKS SICK!!" Like, really, very good. They're not holding anything back in this new video! There's footage of the Batmobile being a hulking mass of intense vehicular badassery, Arkham Knight being all mysteriously villainous, and The Dark Knight doing what he does best: striking fear into the hearts of the corrupt.
The three minute long cinematic sees Batman infiltrating an ACE Chemicals factory riddled with Scarecrow and Arkham Knight's men.
Treat your eyes to this...
Oh. My. Now THAT'S a trailer. Didn't get a chance to watch it? Trust me, you'll want to! But for now...
Holy Breakdown Batfans!
Here's some choice stills from the trailer...
You'll Need More Firepower
The beginning of the trailer has a tasty shot of the Batmobile tearing into action. A helicopter casually stops Batman from entering via the front gate by blowing up the bridge.
Batman Shall Prevail
If there's anyone who'll find a way in, it's The Bat.
Regardless of Arkham Knight's cruelest intentions.
An Army Fit For A Knight
Something untoward is occurring in ACE Chemicals. Someone is amassing an army of sorts.
He did it, Bats infiltrated the factory. Naturally.
The fear takedown is looking pretty special and has to be seen in the video. Here Bats stalks a mercenary...
Then takes him out in front of his peers who flash a bright yellow when startled...
Your enemies will shoot wildly, missing Bats and with a simple tap of square (PS4) or X (XB1) you can take them down swiftly and with much vengeance.
Batman needs to locate a crew of ACE Chemicals workers in order to figure out where Scarecrow could have left his bomb.
How good does that look? In this mode Batman is scanning to pick up the workers' signals.
He's off to find the good guys!
And beat up some more bad guys along the way! In this part Bats uses a lampshade as a weapon. Hilarious!
"Time To Bring In The Car"
Here the Batmobile is laying waste to some sentry turrets.
Best to avoid their green sensor beams...
There is a whole ton of amazing footage from the trailer that really allows you to get a good idea of what Batman's next gen adventure will be like. It looks incredible, so check it out as soon as you can!
Rocksteady will be releasing more footage from Arkham Knight on Dec 1st, so keep your eyes peeled, gamer! And the game itself will be released on PS4, XB1 and PC on June 2nd 2015.
I cannot wait for this game. Definitely will have to be a day one purchase me thinks! WOO!
