As it turns out highly anticipated previews - much like life - find a way to make an appearance somehow. That's just what's happened today thanks to the arrival of the full, ground-shaking, great white chompin' teaser trailer for Jurassic World that has arrived online early for all everyone to see. Naturally, it's an absolute beast.

Led by Chris Pratt on his continuing reign of big screen bombardment, Jurassic World sees our hero working on the newly developed attraction that now has the prehistoric creatures under control, at least for a while. Looking to want to go further than bringing the basic velociraptor and Megaladon to life, top level scientists have created a new breed of terror that is a bit sharper than the rest of the beasts on the island. Of course, history quickly repeats itself and this scaly harbinger of doom breaks loose sending customers running from the hills and Pratt to jump on his bike and ride alongside a pack of velociraptors. Wait, what?

Whilst it will give a number of nods to the original franchise its spawned from World still has a few sure signs that it's going to separate itself from its predecessors. Actually seeing an underwater creature already makes for a nice surprise, and with the added star power of Chris Pratt aka Star-Lord running for his life as Bryce Dallas Howard shifty bird in a suit goes to work does build some intrigue. Be sure to pass your own personal judgement in the comments below.

Jurassic World is being tamed by brave and ballsy director Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer, Irrfan Khan, B.D. Wong and Omar Sy. It’ll open its gates to us all June 12, 2015.
